for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect,
by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare,
all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese,
and financed by a country that's broke!!!!!

SEATTLE JOINS FIGHT AGAINST ARIZONA IMMIGRATION LAW

Seattle joined more than 40 cities and counties across the country in a friend-of-the-court filing urging the U.S. Supreme court to strike down Arizona’s infamously successful anti-illegal immigration law. Siding with the federal government, Seattle and others are saying Arizona’s 2010 law cracking down on illegal immigration encourages racial profiling. The cities and counties signing the amicus brief span the country from coast to coast and include New York, Boston, Miami, and San Francisco to name a few. They argue that the provisions of Arizona’s law are impractical, costly, and damaging to relationships between law-enforcement agencies and immigrant communities.

Craig Keller, who leads an anti-illegal immigration group called Respect Washington, despises Seattle’s decision to join the fray saying Arizona only acted because the feds failed to. Keller said, "Arizona's Legislature enacted SB 1070, now challenged by the illegal-alien lobby," Keller said. "This lobby now includes the clowns whose salaries we pay at the City Attorney's Office." We say Seattle should mind their own business.

OBAMACARE MANDATE EXCLUDES ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

ObamaCare excludes illegal immigrants from purchasing health insurance through exchanged that the federal government and states are expected to set up through the law even though as a group they are among the worst non-insured offenders for seeking the emergency room for non-urgent care while others turn to free clinics and public health centers. However, about 31 percent of illegal immigrants have insurance obtained through work while only about 16 percent of Americans lack insurance.

According to U.S. Rep. Barletta who voted against ObamaCare, "Illegal aliens will not face any of the financial penalties associated with the law, and they will continue to reap the benefits of their illegal stay in the United States," Barletta said by email. "If we cease providing free health care to illegal aliens, not only would we remove a huge magnet drawing them to the United States, but it would also be one more reason for the millions and millions of illegal aliens already in the country to self-deport."

ObamaCare, if not defeated, will require citizens and legal residents to buy insurance unless they have religious objections, are Native Americans or earn so little that they don’t have to file a tax return. Those who fail to purchase insurance will start incurring penalties ranging between $695 and $2,085 per family, per year, by 2016. Under ObamaCare nothing will stop illegal immigrants from getting free health care at emergency rooms even though all will be barred from paying into the pot through purchasing private insurance or paying penalties AKA taxes depending on which court date you reference.

OBAMA’S UNCLE OMAR SURRENDERS LICENSE FOR 45 DAYS
(BUT HE CAN STILL DRIVE TO AND FROM WORK!)

Barack Obama’s Uncle Omar – 67-year-old Onyango Obama – has surrendered his driving license for 45 days after entering a please in his drunk-driving charge where he admitted that prosecutors have enough evidence to convict him without pleading guilty. However, he is still allowed to drive to and from his job as the manager of a liquor store.

Uncle Omar is the half-brother of Obama’s late father and the second Obama relative discovered to be illegally present in the United States. He was arrested in Framingham, Mass., in August of last year after a police officer said he made a rolling stop at a stop sign and nearly collided with the officer’s SUV and then discovered to be drunk failing several field sobriety tests with a blood alcohol content nearly twice the legal limit. He also asked to ‘call the White House.’

Uncle Omar, who like the president’s father is from Kenya, is appealing a deportation order that dates back to 1992 after he failed to renew his visa application. Uncle Omar first ‘moved’ to America in 1963 as part of an Airlift Africa project, where Kenyan students were flown to the U.S. to study at American universities.


HUMAN RIGHTS GROUP ACCUSES U.S. OF ABUSES ALONG U.S.-MEXICO BORDER

The human rights group Amnesty International USA recently released a report, titled “In Hostile Terrain: Human Rights Violations in Immigration Enforcement in the U.S. Southwest,” in which they condemn U.S. policing along the Mexican border as discriminatory and contributing to the deaths of illegal immigrants.

The Department of Homeland Security disputed Amnesty International’s findings even though the U.S. Justice Department recently accused Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio of ‘systemic racial profiling’ in its efforts to enforce immigration law. Homeland Security Department spokesman, Matthew Chandler, said the report was based "almost entirely on either outdated information or anonymous anecdotes that can be neither investigated nor resolved.”

Amnesty International is also urging the U.S. government to suspend all immigration enforcement programs to ensure they do have the “effect of leading to the deaths of migrants” though they failed to make any recommendations for improvement to current border security and immigration law enforcement policies.

to try this guy quickly and execute him, never mind his having suffered a
traumatic brain injury.

Yet this Major Hasan, who shot up Fort Hood while
screaming Allah akbar, still hasn’t stood trial, and they are still debating
whether he was insane, even with the clear evidence regarding his motive:
slay as many infidels as possible.

So we have a guy in a war zone who
cracks, and he must be executed immediately. But this Muslim psychiatrist who
was stateside in a nice safe office all day murders 13, wounds 29 of our own
guys, and they try to argue the poor lad suffered post-traumatic stress
syndrome, from listening to real soldiers who had actual battle experience.
Two and a half years later, they still haven’t tried the murderous bastard.

ARIZONA’S ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT POPULATION PLUNGES

Arizona’s illegal immigrant population is near its lowest level in a decade thanks to the tougher enforcement of immigration laws across the state.

The Department of Homeland Security released a report Friday that estimated (based on census date) there were 360,000 illegal immigrants in Arizona as of January 2011 – that’s down 110,000 from one year earlier and down from 200,000 in 2008 when an estimated 560,000 illegal immigrants lived in the state according to 2000 census data.

‘Experts’ at the Department of Homeland Security are saying the decline due to the lack of jobs in the construction and tourism industry, despite reports that tourism to this patriot-state has increased.

According to the report, Arizona now ranks ninth out of the 10 states with the largest illegal immigrant population – last year the state ranked fifth.

ICE RELEASES CHILD RAPIST UNDER OBAMA GUIDELINES

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) released Amado Espinoza-Ramirez – an illegal immigrant, who is a child rapist accused of incest – because he has a child who is a U.S. citizen and no prior criminal convictions or immigration violations.

When Amado Espinoza-Ramirez, who was charged with 42 counts of predatory sexual acts, was turned over to ICE on Sept. 2, he was released ON THE SAME DAY. He then escaped his ankle monitor and is now a fugitive roaming free in the United States.

This case is a prime example of how the June 2011 memo from ICE Director John Morton, which put into effect Obama’s “prosecutorial discretion” or backdoor amnesty guidelines, has led to numerous dangerous criminals being released.

‘FAST AND FURIOUS’ INVESTIGATION REVEALS CHIEF SUSPECT TWICE RELEASED

As revealed in a letter Thursday to Attorney General Eric Holder sent by the two top congressional investigators – Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Vista) and Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), Manuel Celis-Acosta, the prime suspect in the ATF’s botched “Fast and Furious” gun-running operation (who was caught but released at the U.S.-Mexico border in May 2010) was also stopped and released two months earlier while in possession of a Colt .38-caliber pistol purchased illegally under the investigation.

This revelation that officials twice declined to arrest Celis-Acosta shows that agents were keenly aware of his activities yet repeatedly turned down opportunities to charge him with felony offenses and quickly end “Fast and Furious.” Instead, the program dragged on with the ultimate loss of about 1,700 U.S. firearms and resulting deaths on BOTH sides of the border.


FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH BANS TERM ‘ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT’

As of March 12 of this year, the First United Methodist Church joined other religious groups making a push to eliminate using the term “illegal” when describing ‘undocumented’ immigrants in sermons, church services, church bulletins or any of its publications.

Rev. Eun-sang Lee said he believed terms like “anchor baby” and “illegal alien” were incorrect and offensive and that using these phrases “violates our faith communities’ understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Just in case you were interested, the Associated Press contends that “illegal immigrant” is the correct term to describe a person who has entered a country illegally or who resides in a country in violation of civil or criminal law, and the wire service style guide warns against using “alien.”

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE DREAM ACT

In his most recently published opinion piece, Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) blasts Barack Obama, members of his administration, and liberals everywhere for inaccurately describing the DREAM Act.

For instance, DREAM Act supporters claim that only children would benefit from the bill even though most DREAM Act proposals would extend amnesty to individuals up to 30-years-old, and some proposals don’t even set an age limit! Likewise, supporters of this backdoor amnesty piece of legislation maintain that illegal immigrants can’t go to college without the DREAM Act despite the very real fact that in most states not only are illegal immigrants taking seats in classrooms that would otherwise be filled by equally qualified U.S. citizens, they are doing so on YOUR dime through public-funding, scholarship and in-state tuition rates.

Rep. Smith also points out that the DREAM Act is a magnet for fraud since many illegal immigrants will falsely claim they came here as children or that they are under 30, and the feds have no way to check. After all, two-thirds of all applications for the 1986 agricultural worker amnesty were NOT agricultural workers.

And that’s not to mention it did NOTHING to stop illegal immigration from increasing from 3 million then to roughly 12 million illegal immigrants estimated to be in the United States today.

LIBERALS PRESSING HYUNDAI TO OPPOSE ALABAMA’S IMMIGRATION LAW

More than 2,500 hard-working individuals’ jobs at Hyundai’s manufacturing facility in Alabama are now under attack by the pro-amnesty radicals working in cahoots with Obama union thugs. Illegal immigrant advocacy groups and organizations, including the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), attended a recent Hyundai shareholders’ meeting in Seoul to argue their case for why the company should oppose the Alabama’s tough new law against illegal immigration.

According to Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights president and CEO Wade Henderson, Hyundai accounts for two percent of Alabama’s GDP though Henderson and his accomplices denied the protests over Alabama’s HB 56 had anything to do with Alabama being a right-to-work state. Dae Joong Yoon of the National Korean American Service and Education Consortium called the legislation a “hatred law taking away the fundamental rights of immigrants and forcing our children to cry and live in fear and promoting racial profiling.”

Robert Burns, senior manager of public relations and sales for Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, went on the record saying there is no change in their production schedule at this point in time.

Most politicians can escape bad news or gaffes unless they reinforce already-held suspicions. That rule explains why President Obama is extra vulnerable to rising gas prices.

The narrative working against him starts with Obama’s 2008 statement that his carbon taxes would cause electricity rates to “skyrocket.” It includes his future energy secretary, Steven Chu, saying the same year that America must “boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.”

Then there is Obama’s repeated demonization of oil companies and massive subsidies for failed solar companies like Solyndra and electric cars nobody wants to buy. Throw in his rejection of the Keystone pipeline from Canada and it’s not only easy to paint a picture of callous disregard for prices, it’s accurate.

Just last week, Obama labeled oil “the fuel of the past,” which is news to Americans paying $60 or $70 at the pump. Prices have gone up $2 on his watch, to an average of about $3.85 for a gallon of regular.

Obama accepts no responsibility, of course, even though he faulted President Bush when prices reached current levels in 2008. Yet Obama is worried enough about the impact that he speaks on the subject almost daily.

The problem is, he has offered nothing that rebuts the impression he doesn’t care about prices. On one hand, he argues that imported oil is down and American production is up, then rails that more drilling isn’t the answer.

He says Republicans belong to the “flat-earth society” for wanting to drill more, then says he’ll appoint a “task force” to look into costs.

Aides say supply is not the issue, then whisper they might add to it by releasing oil from the strategic reserve.
Confused?

So is the president.

‘AGENCY INSIDERS’ SAY DHS RELEASING ‘FALSE AND MISLEADING’ DATA

In a letter dated Mar. 1, Reps. Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) sent a letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano requesting a wide range of documents as part of an investigation of charges made by “agency insiders” that the DHS and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), one of its largest components, released false and misleading border crossing data in order to claim that the border is “more secure than ever.”

The letter also highlights that ‘got-aways’ – or individuals who CBP could no longer reasonably expect to apprehend as they crossed the border are passed from shift to shit until they fall of the record entirely.

According to an analysis of a small sample of shift reports, ‘got-aways’ could roughly account for 268,000 illegal immigrants entering the United State over a 12-month period never being counted... Today is the deadline for Napolitano to provide the requested documents, without redaction.

MEXICAN GUN BATTLES FORCE U.S. TO CLOSE TWO BORDER CROSSINGS

For the sake of public safety, U.S. authorities temporarily shut down two international bridge crossings connecting Eagle Pass, Texas, to Piedras Negras in Coahuila, Mexico, due to several gun battles between Mexican military forces and drug traffickers. The bridges remained shut from approximately 9 p.m. on March 6 and 8 a.m. the following day.

According to Mexican news reports, the U.S. State Department requested the shutdown in response to a series of gun battles involving rifles and rocket grenade launchers. Media account from both sides of the border revealed that the traffickers used an 18-wheeler engulfed in fire as a road block approximately a quarter-mile from one of the bridges and that one female police officer and at least six members of the Mexican military were wounded as a result of the battle.

Eagle Pass Police Chief Tony Castaneda, said the gun battles were “not out of the norm” and that the brides were closed to prevent the criminals from “fleeing and entering the U.S. to escape because many of them do have the right to enter by means of a passport.”

Game Change

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

The movie “Game Change” has hit the small screen, and like the vast majority of Americans everywhere, I just can’t wait to skip it.

Don’t get me wrong: I like a good political drama as much as the next guy. But there is little drama here. Most people already know that the old, white codger loses to the young, smooth-talking black guy.

Add to that all the decency of Hollywood and the integrity of Washington, and you have one crappy movie that goes straight to TV and probably isn’t worth watching.

But don’t tell the self-enthralled Beltway crowd that gathered for a screening last week in Washington. Nothing inspires the people of this town like the opportunity to sit for two hours thinking about the only thing they care about: themselves.

According to reviews of the gala event, many of the political operatives depicted in the movie and the “reporters” who cover them sat in a dark theater together — doing God knows what.

The film reportedly features and even celebrates turncoats in the Republican campaign who, any way you slice it, can be held responsible for giving us President Obama, Obamacare and the Obama economy. But, of course, they survive their incompetence and now their treachery simply because they were already so deeply entrenched in this poisonous town.

As part of his turncoat campaign, longtime Republican operative Steve Schmidt — who became a “made man” working for former President George W. Bush — told his friends at MSNBC that “the notion of Sarah Palin being president of the United States is something that frightens me.” And then he went on to lump her into the same category with the morally corrupt and pathologically dishonest John Edwards.

For this, Mr. Schmidt is heralded around here like some kind of hero. The media lavishes leg-thrilling praise on him.

But what people like Mr. Schmidt don’t understand is that the reason so many Americans fell in love with Sarah Palin is not because they hate Democrats. It’s because they hate Republicans. Specifically, Republicans like Steve Schmidt.

Democrats have always been honest and shameless about their unceasing tax thievery and forced charity as a way to pay for cradle-to-grave big government. Republicans were supposed to keep these Democrats in check, but instead over the years abandoned their post and jumped belly-deep into the trough.

Once in it together, old-style Democrats and the turncoat Republicans exploded the size of the federal government, bankrupted our treasury and looted our retirement accounts.

Mrs. Palin may not read the New York Times every day, and she may not have the most sophisticated foreign-policy portfolio. But she is infinitely more qualified to be president than the liars, looters and turncoats that got us into this mess.

What you need to know about the attacks on Israel’s southern region.

As a fragile cease-fire goes into effect, it is important to note the background facts:

(1) Over 210 rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip at Israel over the past three days, targeting as many as one million civilians (15% of the Israeli population). Rockets reached past Ashdod to Gedera, about 20 miles south of Tel Aviv. Today alone, 47 rockets exploded in Israeli territory and 13 were intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system which protects populated areas in the target zone.

(2) Schools in southern Israel have remained closed all week in an attempt to protect children and civilians, and 200,000 children are huddled in shelters rather than in school. The preemptive action of closing schools saved many lives at an elementary school in Beer Sheva and at a preschool in Ashkol that were hit with Grad missiles. Grad missiles, which come via Sinai, are much more accurate and destructive than Kassam rockets.

(3) While Israel’s Iron Dome mobile air defense system has a 90% success rate, Israelis have been injured in these missile attacks and a million lives have been disrupted. It costs about $20,000 each time the Iron Dome is deployed. Israeli government officials clearly state that cost is not a factor in protecting the lives of the Israeli people.

(4) Israel reacted with carefully targeted responses. Of 44 strikes, 18 struck high trajectory missiles and 15 hit weapons facilities. The balance hit terrorists carrying out or supplying planned attacks.


(5) The elevated activity began after the Israeli Air Force targeted and killed two members of the Popular Resistance Committee (PRC), a terror organization funded and supported by Hamas and based in Gaza. The PRC was thought to be planning a terror attack that was to take place via Sinai in the coming days. Ahmed Karsi, a senior operative and political commander, was a leader that planned, funded and directed the combined terror attack that took place near the resort town of Eilat in August 2011. The infamous attacks included ambushing a bus going to Eilat and bombing a passenger car, leaving 8 Israelis murdered and 40 injured. The PRC was also responsible for firing rockets into Israel and attacking the Nahal Oz fuel terminal in which Israeli citizens were murdered.

(6) The Israeli government considers “Hamas responsible for all of the terrorist activity in Gaza, and demands that it carry out its responsibility.” Hamas is funded, supported and trained by Iran. According to the Council on Foreign Relations, Iran provides Hamas “significant support, which some diplomats say could amount to $20 million to $30 million per year.” The latest dangerous developments could also be seen as an attempt by Iran to divert the world’s focus off their nuclear ambitions.

(7) Since the fall of Mubarak’s government in 2011, Hamas has been able to smuggle advanced weapons into Gaza with the help of the Bedouins who control much of the Sinai. “We have smuggled thousands of shoulder-launched (surface-to-air) SAM missiles to Gaza through the tunnels for a transporting fee,” a Bedouin tribal leader told CNN. According to the same report, large stockpiles of RPGs, machine and anti-aircraft guns are also being held by Bedouins to fight the Egyptians whom they have accused of committing treason. According to military sources, it is only a matter of time before Hamas escalates the war on Israel with missiles that can reach Tel Aviv.

(8) A 2009 New York Times article reports that “even Israel’s critics agree that Hamas’ regular use of rockets to fire at civilians in Israel, and its use of civilians as shields in Gaza, are also violations of the rules of war. Israeli military men and analysts say that its urban guerrilla tactics, including the widespread use of civilian structures and tunnels, are deliberate and come from the Iranian Army’s tactical training and the lessons of the 2006 war between Israel and Iranian-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon.”

(9) Since the 2005 withdrawal, the rocket attacks from Gaza have reached as far north as Rehovot, just 12 miles south of Tel Aviv, resulting in thousands injured and numerous deaths. In 2011, an average of two rockets a day were terrorizing Israeli civilians. Many attacks deliberately target children in kindergartens and school buses. The constant attacks have caused long-term psychological disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), with children particularly affected. According to the U.N.’s Palmer Report (paragraph 71), “The enormity of the psychological toll on the affected population cannot be underestimated….The purpose of these acts of violence, which have been repeatedly condemned by the international community, has been to do damage to the population of Israel.”

(10) Hamas’ arms caches are deliberately hidden in civilian homes, schools, and heavily populated areas to create a moral dilemma for the Israel Defense Forces. During the 2008/9 Operation Cast Lead, Hamas officials called upon Palestinian civilians, including children, to congregate near buildings that contained military units, bombs and/or rockets. Prior to striking, the Israeli Air Force dropped leaflets warning of coming attacks, losing the element of surprise and possibly putting themselves at risk in order to save Palestinian lives. The Israeli military also made hundreds of thousands of phone calls to warn civilians of strikes near or targeting their homes where terrorists had taken refuge. The Israel Defense Forces operate in a strategic manner in order to target terrorists while minimizing collateral damage.

(11) Hamas, a militant offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, violently wrested control of Gaza from the Palestinian Authority in 2007. The United States has classified Hamas as a terrorist organization, as have Britain, the European Union, Japan and Canada. Jordan banned Hamas in 1999.

(12) Contrary to media reports, Hamas recognizes that Gaza is not occupied by Israel. On January 3, 2012, in response to Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal’s statement that Hamas will demonstrate against Israel, Hamas Foreign Minister Mahmoud al-Zahar said, "Against whom could we demonstrate in the Gaza Strip?... [Only] when Gaza was occupied, that model was applicable."

(13) The Hamas charter is awash with anti-Semitism. Excerpts:

“The time of judgment shall not come until Muslims fight the Jews [and kill them] so that the Jews hide behind and trees and stones and each tree and stone will say: ‘O Muslim! there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him’.” — Article 7

“The Nazism of the Jews targeted both women and children. The terror they spread is directed at everyone. They fight people by destroying their livelihood, stealing their money and trampling their dignity. Their horrible treatment of people is like that of the worst war criminals.“ — Article 20

(14) Hamas continues to refuse to recognize the State of Israel. In a public address delivered on Al-Aqsa TV in December 2011, Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniya declared: “The principles [of Hamas] are definitive and non-negotiable: Palestine means Palestine in its entirety, from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea. There will be no concession of a single inch of the land of Palestine.” This clearly targets the elimination of the State of Israel.

(15) Hamas suppresses free speech in Gaza and Palestinians who dare to speak about Hamas’ human rights abuses put themselves at risk. In January 2012, Mahmoud Abu Rahma, International Relations Director at the Gaza based Al Mezan Center for Human Rights, was stabbed multiple times. Rahma had been receiving threats since his article, “The Gap Between Resistance and Governance,” was published. Palestinian journalists in Gaza believe Hamas militiamen were responsible for the attack.

(16) The Gazan economy is growing. According to the World Bank, growth in Gaza during the first half of 2011 was 28%. Currently, Israel allows all goods of a civilian nature to enter Gaza via established land corridors, with the exception of arms, weapons, war materials, and certain items that can have both military and civilian applications. In the fourth quarter of 2011 alone, over 190,000 tons of supplies entered Gaza through Israel. These supplies included but were not limited to food, water, medicines, hygiene products, clothing, and school supplies.

Call to Action

Make everyone aware that:

• Firing missiles from Gaza at innocent civilians, particularly defenseless children cannot continue and must be condemned by all.
  
• No government can tolerate such acts against its people, and Israel is no exception.
  
• Hamas is funded and supported by Iran.
  
• Iran's continuing export of terror is yet another reason why a nuclear Iran is unacceptable not just for Israel, but for the entire region and the world at large.

GEORGIA COULD BEAR MORE COSTS OF THE COSTS OF JAILING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

Barack Obama’s proposal to cut $170 million from the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program means every state will be packing up a larger portion of the tab associated with jailing illegal immigrants. Although border-states are likely to be the most affected by Obama’s underhanded fiscal attack on states trying to enforce immigration laws, the Georgia state prison system and local jails depend on about $10 million from the federal program, which they can no longer expect.

The Obama administration has proposed shrinking the program by more than half leaving only $70 million to help states bear the burden of illegal immigration. Members of Congress from both sides of the spectrum are already joining forces to hike funding for the program to $950 million a year. The bill is currently stalled in the Senate Judiciary Committee.


FEDS BUST GREEN CARD MILL IN NEW YORK

Federal agents discovered a green card mill operating out of a farmhouse in Lewis County, New York where at least 40 illegal immigrants paid $250 apiece to get a fake Social Security document and a fake green card that they could show to prospective employers. After an informant told federal agents about the mill, Homeland Security agents raided the home of Moises Velazquez-Jacobo Wednesday and charged him with identification document fraud and misuse of visas, permits and other documents. Velazquez-Jacobo, a Mexican national, was working at a dairy farm nearby and renting a house. He is scheduled to appear in court today.

AZ GOV BREWER SLAMS BOTH PARTIES FOR FAILING TO SECURE THE BORDER

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer said the government’s “abdication of responsibility is the overarching outrage” of America’s illegal immigration crisis at a border-security expo in Phoenix on Tuesday. Gov. Brewer blasted both parties in Washington for failing to secure the U.S.-Mexico border and keep citizens safe. She also called out the Obama administration for distorting the truth falsely claiming that the border is more secure than ever.

In her remarks to law enforcement officers and those working in the border-security industry, Brewer cited the killing of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry – who was murdered with weapons linked to Obama’s Operation Fast and Furious – as a prime example of the government undermining security along the border.

WE DEPORTED 1.3 MILLION ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS NEARLY 60 YEARS AGO

You don’t hear much from the media or from anyone for that matter about President Dwight Eisenhower and illegal immigration – but you should. Writing for the Examiner, Dave Gibson uses a brief history lesson to put the lack of immigration law enforcement by the current administration into proper context showing how the feds' failure to enforce federal immigration law is a matter of will - not a matter of ability.

On June 17, 1954, under the direction of President Eisenhower, Immigration and Nationalization Service (INS) began a roundup of illegal immigrants for deportation in what became known as “Operation Wetback.” The roundup initially began in California and Arizona but eventually spread to Texas, Utah , Nevada and Idaho. By the end of the next month, more than 50,000 illegal immigrants had been arrested between California and Arizona. In Texas, 80,000 illegal immigrants had been taken into custody in under two months with an estimated 500,000 to 700,000 leaving the state voluntarily or ‘self-deporting.’

Rather than being let go on the other side of the border like we do today, the illegal immigrants were sent back to Mexico on WWII-era army vehicles into the interior of Mexico. They were also ferried back to Mexico by ship from Port Isabel, Texas, to Veracruz, Mexico.

With only 750 federal agents, compared to the reported 20,000 agents we have today, the INS removed 1.3 million illegal immigrants (including those who self-deported) in just three months.

This just goes to show there are NO EXCUSES for today’s failure by the federal government to secure the southern border.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been asked by his Cold Case Posse to elevate the investigation of Obama’s birth records to a full-scale criminal probe. Doing so will make ALL law enforcement resources an option in searching for the individual(s) believed to have forged Obama’s identifying documents, including the Commander-in-Chief’s long-form birth certificate and select service registration records.

Sheriff Joe’s groundbreaking investigation into Barack Obama’s birth records is being ignored by the mainstream media and the sheriff himself is being personally attacked by the Obama administration and its leftwing lobby.Barack Obama is even cashing in on the investigation by selling mugs feature an image of the botched birth certificate as well as a picture of – wait for it – himself. Nearly, one year ago, the Obama White House held a formal news conference last year to discredit the so-called “birther” movement and to announce “proof positive” of Barack Obama’s Hawaii birth, which makes him Constitutionally-eligible to be President of the United States.

Unfortunately for Obama, the alleged “birth certificate” posted on the White House’s website in April 2011 opened an even larger can of worms as dozens of experts – including several ex-CIA members – have asserted that the document is fraudulent.

Obama has refused to allow access to supposed original documentation in the state of Hawaii, where he claims he was born, as well as other documents, such as passport records, kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, University of Chicago articles, Illinois State Bar Association records, Illinois State Senate records and schedules, medical records, Obama/Dunham marriage license, Obama/Dunham divorce documents, Soetoro/Dunham marriage license and adoption records.

Whatever ‘original’ documentation he provides is riddled with red flags, yet Obama still thinks he can win. Obama believes he is above the American people and above the U.S. Constitution.

Barack Hussein Obama and his leftist media elites have resorted to personally attacking Sheriff Joe as part of a larger attempt to discredit and detract from what the Arizona Sheriff’s volunteer team of experts are saying after the first-ever law enforcement investigation of Obama’s birth records.

But this time the law will catch up, and the American people will finally see justice served, because WE will make sure of it!

MORE THAN 1/3 OF VOTERS IN 3 STATES DOUBT OBAMA ELIGIBILITY. That’s the results obtained by Public Policy Polling when voters in Ohio, Georgia and Tennessee were asked “Do you think Barack Obama was born in the United States, or not?” In Georgia, 38 percent said Obama was not born in the U.S. and another 22 percent were unsure; in Ohio, 37 percent said Obama was not with 21 percent unsure; and in Tennessee, NEARLY HALF (45 percent) of voters say that Obama was not born in the U.S. and 22 percent were unsure.

Another recent poll shows half of registered voters would like to see Congress investigate.

But apparently that’s not enough for Congress, which has thus far FAILED to get involved just like they have FAILED to challenge Barack Obama’s usurpation of our legal system when it comes to enforcing immigration law.

This is OUR opportunity to oust Obama from stealing yet another election. Sheriff Joe has made sure of it. We must make sure that Sheriff Joe has above and beyond the support he needs to thoroughly investigate every red flag raised thus far, and those additional ones that are sure to come with further investigation.

An examination of the postal date stamp on Obama’s Selective Service card leads investigators to believe the document is a forgery

Missing records of Immigration and Naturalization Service cards provide further evidence of systemic conspiracy. After requesting ten years’ of microfilm records of airline passengers arriving on flights originating outside the United States, there was only one week of missing data at the National Archives in Washington, D.C., August 1 through August 7, 1961 – the week of Obama’s birth.

An individual testified under oath to investigators that he was introduced to Barack Hussein Obama in leftwing anti-government terrorist William (Bill) Ayer’s front yard. According to the signed affidavit, Barack Obama was introduced to him in 1980 as a FOREIGN student “they” were trying to help get into college and obtain financial aid.

Sheriff Joe’s Cold Case Posse, consisting of retired law enforcement officers, lawyers, and subject matter experts, examined dozens of witnesses and hundreds of documents. I’ll never forget the time I learned from my eighth grade teacher that not every student in the nation learned about Texas history the way we did in Houston. I remember thinking “they sure as hell oughta.” Then I was overwhelmed with a sense of great sadness, when I realized that not everyone in the nation was actually a Texan—or indeed could be. It still bothers me. There are just so many things to love about Texas, that I can’t imagine being from anywhere else. To start with, we definitely got the double helping of self-esteem. Man when you got it, you just don’t need it! That’s why most Texans just want to be left alone, especially by government. Beyond that, I defer to Bob Wheeler, who writes so movingly about the subject. What follows are excerpts from a speech he wrote. I’ve paraphrased and edited some:

Great things I love about Texas? Lemme let you in on my short list. It starts with The Window at Big Bend, which in and of itself is proof of God. It goes to Lake Sam Rayburn . . . . Then we can talk about Tyler, and Longview, and Odessa and Cisco, and Abilene and Poteet and every place in between. Every little part of Texas feels special. Every Texan, who ever flew over the Lone Star, thinks of Bandera or Victoria or Manor or wherever they call “home” as the best little part of the best State.

Now recently I went to Europe for the first time. All they did when they saw me was say the same thing, before they’d ever met me. “Hey cowboy, we love Texas.” I guess the hat tipped em off. But let me tell you what, they all came up with a smile on their faces. You know why? They knew for sure that I was gonna be nice to ‘em. They knew it cause they knew I was from Texas. They knew something that hadn’t even hit me. They knew Texans, even though they’d never met one. That’s when it occurred to me. Do you know what is great about Texas? Do you know why when my friend and I were trekking across country to see 15 baseball games we got sick and had to come home after 8? Do you know why every time I cross the border I say, “Lord, please don’t let me die in _______”? Do you know why children in Japan can look at a picture of the great State and know exactly what it is about the same time they can tell a rhombus from a trapezoid? I can tell you that right quick. You. The same spirit that made 186 men cross that line in the sand in San Antonio 176 years ago is still in you today.

What would make a woman say, “I don’t know if I can marry a man who doesn’t love Texas like I do?” Why do we still celebrate a holiday for what used to be a nation that is now a State? Because the spirit that made that nation is the spirit that burned in every person who founded this great place we call Texas, and they passed it on through blood or sweat to every one of us. You see, that spirit that made Texas what it is, is alive in all of us, even if we can’t stand next to a cannon to prove it, and it’s our responsibility to keep that fire burning. Every person who ever put a “Native Texan” or an “I wasn’t born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could” sticker on his car understands. Anyone who ever hung a map of Texas on their wall or flew a Lone Star flag on their porch knows what I mean. Some people were forged of a hotter fire. Well, that’s what it is to be Texan. To be forged of a hotter fire.

To know that part of Colorado was Texas. That part of New Mexico was Texas. That part of Oklahoma was Texas. Yep. Talk all you want. Part of what you got was what we gave you. To look at a picture of Idaho or Istanbul and say, “what the hell is that?” when you know that anyone in Idaho or Istanbul who sees a picture of Texas knows good and well what it is. It isn’t the shape of the State, it’s the state of mind. You’re what makes Texas. When was the last time you went to a person’s house in New York and you saw a big map of New York on their wall? That was never. When did you ever drive through Oklahoma and see their flag waving on four businesses in a row? Can you even tell me what the flag in Louisiana looks like? I damned sure can’t.

When you ask a man from New York what he is, he’ll say a stockbroker, or an accountant, or an ad exec. When you ask a woman from California what she is, she’ll tell you her last name or her major. When you ask a Texan what they are, before they say, “I’m a Methodist,” or “I’m a lawyer,” or “I’m a Smith,” they tell you they’re a Texan. I got nothin’ against all those other places, and Lord knows they’ve probably got some fine folks, but in your gut you know it just like I do, Texas is just a little different.

So tomorrow when you drive down the road and you see a person broken down on the side of the road, stop and help. When you are in a bar in California, buy a Californian a drink and tell him it’s for Texas. Remind the person in the cube next to you that he wouldn’t be here enjoying this if it weren’t for Sam Houston, and if he or she doesn’t know the story, tell them. When William Barrett Travis wrote in 1836 that he would never surrender and he would have Victory or Death, what he was really saying was that he and his men were forged of a hotter fire. They weren’t your average every day men. Well, that is what it means to be a Texan. It meant it then, and that’s why it means it today. It means just what all those people North of the Red River accuse us of thinking it means. It means there’s no mountain that we can’t climb. It means that we can swim the Gulf in the winter. It means that Earl Campbell ran harder and Houston is bigger and Dallas is richer and Alpine is hotter and Stevie Ray was smoother and God vacations in Texas.

It means that come hell or high water, when the chips are down and the Good Lord is watching, we’re Texans by damned, and just like in 1836, that counts for something. So when your chance comes around, go out and prove it. It’s true because we believe it’s true. If you are sitting wondering what the hell I’m talking about, this ain’t for you. But if one of the first things you are going to do when the Good Lord calls your number is to find the men who sat in that tiny mission in San Antonio and shake their hands, then it is. And may you be poor in misfortune, rich in blessings, slow to make enemies and quick to make friends. But, rich or poor, quick or slow, may you know nothing but happiness from this day forward. Amen.

LEGAL BATTLE OVER GEORGIA, ALABAMA ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION LAWS RESUMES TODAY

The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta will hear arguments over Georgia’s and Alabama’s immigration enforcement laws today. Officials from both states call the laws necessary to protect jobs and taxpayer-funded resources since the federal government has failed to secure the U.S.-Mexico border and enforce existing immigration laws. Opponents of the illegal immigration crackdown, like the Obama administration, say the laws are divisive, unconstitutional, and interfere with the federal government’s authority.

Two key parts of Georgia’s law will be at stake today when the three-judge panel holds its hearings. One of those provisions authorizes state and local police to investigate the immigration status of suspects and possibly detain those who cannot produce identification. The other provision makes it illegal to knowingly transport or harbor illegal immigrants while committing another crime (like human-trafficking).

Alabama’s similar law enforcement provision requiring police to investigate the immigration status of suspects under certain conditions is also at stake today along with a provision requiring public school officials to determine the immigration status of students in order to calculate financial costs.


WHAT DO DENTAL WORK, ABORTION ACCESS, AND HORMONE TREATMENTS FOR THE TRANSGENDERED HAVE IN COMMON?


They are part of a wide array of services included in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s recently revised standards for medical procedures and services available to detained illegal immigrants.

ICE has already started implementing changes to its standards facing public criticism by Texas Republican House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Lamar Smith who says the 2011 revisions amount to a vast and expensive expansion of privileges.

Smith wrote in a statement: “The Obama administration’s new detention manual is more like a hospitality guideline for illegal immigrants… The administration goes beyond common sense to accommodate illegal immigrants and treats them better than citizens in federal custody.”

If using your tax dollars to pay for FREE dental work, abortion access, and hormone treatments for transgendered illegal immigrants (not to mention a 15-day supply of medications upon release, deportation or transfer) does not get you up in arms against illegal immigration – well, we’re just not sure what will.
