Why Is No One Stepping Up?

Greed Is Bringing Us Down

Why are charities, churches, entreprenuers, all standing back waiting for the government to do something about the housing crisis?

I know why the banks are foreclosing at record levels. The more empty houses falling to ruin on their books, the more cash they get from bailout legislation. Rather than give the homeowner a break, they see huge cash infusions provided they kick out the victims of their greed.

The average 3 bedroom, 2 bath, recently constructed house in Cape Coral and Ft Myers, Florida is now valued at $107,000. A charity, church, or entreprenuer, could put up a mere $2,140,000 (less than a 3 bedroom condo in Huntington Beach CA) and buy 20 of these houses. These houses could be sold, with no money down, to qualifying families for only $510.00 a month at 4% interest. Almost any wage earner in America would be able to afford those payments.

This is the kind of "Change" we need. We Citizens need to get out there and do what we can, because the greed on The Hill is simply working for itself. By the time anything trickles down, or trickles up, there will be nothing left and we will not have changed anything.
