What ObamaCare Is, Not What He Says It Is

Obama says, with a snarl in his voice, "Who would vote against low cost health care?"

First of all it is not Health Care, it is Health Insurance. Big difference. The Care this Insurance will provide will be sub-par. Many good doctors have already refused to accept it.

Secondly it will be low cost for some due to 'subsidies' which lowers payers initial cost. The subsidy is obtained through an extra tax levied for that purpose. At some point the subsidy will drop off but the tax will remain. Look at what the cost without subsidy is because that is the minimum you will be paying sooner than you think.

Third, the Government, not your doctor will decide what, when, and if you get treatment at all. All for the purpose of keeping costs down. This is known as Socialized Medicine and is a poor substitute for what we have. People from countries with socialized medicine routinely come here for treatment. They cannot afford to wait up to a year for life-saving surgeries.

This horrible, anti-American law which fines those who opt out on an escalating scale must be repealed. It is one of Obama's first steps in his Hope to Change America into a Socialist country with a ruler rather than government by and for the People.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt
limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the United
States Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now
depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to
finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing
America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally!
Leadership means that, "the buck stops here!" Instead, Washington is
shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our
children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure
of leadership. Americans deserve better!"
