Now, when they reach college age, Joe Legal's kids may not get into a State School and may not qualify for scholarships, grants or other tuition help, even though Joe has been paying for State Schools through his taxes, while Jose Illegal's kids "go to the head of the class" because they are a minority.

Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services, but Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay.

CT MAYOR WANTS ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS TO VOTE

New Haven Mayor John DeStefano will petition the Connecticut legislature to allow illegal immigrants to vote in municipal elections. According to local sources, about 10,000 foreign nationals live in the city. DeStefano claims that illegal aliens pay taxes through their rent payments and therefore should be able to vote.

New Haven has long been considered a ‘sanctuary city’ since it began issuing ID cards to illegal immigrants allowing them easier access to public services in 2007. If the measure should pass, New Haven will join Chicago and several towns in Maryland which allow foreign nationals to vote in municipal elections.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CHARGED IN TX MIDDLE SCHOOL SHOOTING

Hidalgo County sheriff’s deputies arrested an illegal immigrant on Monday after a shooting at a local middle school left two students injured. According to Sheriff Lupe Trevino, stray bullets hit two teenage boys who were attending basketball tryouts. The suspect, who has only been identified as an illegal immigrant, was discovered in the woods just north of the school reportedly armed with an AR-15 assault rifle, which he was using to illegally hunt on private lands.

So far, the suspect has been charged with poaching, trespassing and illegal use of a firearm, but more charges could be forthcoming. The victims (ages 13 and 14) remain in stable condition.

Illegal Immigrant Granted Work Release

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT GRANTED WORK PRIVILEGES IN JAIL SENTENCE

Conservatives in Wisconsin are outraged that a local judge granted work release privileges to an illegal immigrant completing an 11-month jail term for driving drunk in the wrong direction on an interstate. Among the top protestors of this ludicrous decision by the judge is Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. who, like us, cannot understand why an illegal immigrant was given a “bed and breakfast” jail sentence at the cost of taxpayers.

Rodruiguez-Benitez, 35, was pulled over with a blood-alcohol level three times the legal limit after driving the wrong direction on an interstate causing an oncoming car to intentionally crash into the median wall to avoid a head-on collision. According to Benitez’s lawyer, his client has a “high degree” of character and education that makes the work release “appropriate.” Sheriff Clarke told his staff to contact U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and ask that the man be deported.

DOJ CUTS, REASSIGNS 81 IMMIGRATION PROSECUTORS

With the end of the federal fiscal year last Friday, the temporary funding for 81 immigration-dedicated federal prosecutors has ended. Of those, thirteen have lost their jobs while 68 others are being reassigned within the Justice Department. One lawyer affected by the shake-up says that the loss of immigration prosecutors will only make the job that much harder as fewer people try to bear the overwhelming burden. David Bunham, co-director of the Transactional Records Clearinghouse – the same organization that found that illegal immigrant criminal cases filed in June accounted for 52 percent of new prosecutions in the nation’s federal courts – called the move by the Obama administration “curious.”
