Comment to the President

Let's give our President some mail to read when he gets back home.

Mr. President;

We are told that we should place our trust in you and the Congress that, if a comprehensive immigration reform bill is passed in the Senate, you will finally fulfill your Constitutional oath and secure our borders.

It strikes me, of course, that we have all known that our unsecured borders have been the source of the majority of the illegal immigration problem for many, many years. ( actually, since the unfulfilled promises of the last amnesty bill in the 1980's ).

So why are we not working feverishly at this very moment to get the fence built ( remember the fence that was approved by Congress last October? ).

Why are we not going all out to recruit and train new Border Patrol Agents?

I see advertisements daily on TV for the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, etc., but never have I seen an ad for the U.S. Border Patrol.

And just why is it, Mr. President, that Federal Prosecutor Johnny Sutton is still hard at work finding hard working career Border Patrol Agents to harshly prosecute for going above and beyond the call of duty to protect our nation from drug smugglers, slave labor smugglers, terrorists and illegal aliens?

I speak with Border Patrol Agents every month up here on the Canadian border, and they definately have gotten your message; "Don't take your job too seriously. We really don't want our borders secured."

You've taken the side of La Raza, Mecha, the ACLU and other hate groups in trying to label people like Lou Dobbs, the Minutemen, and anyone else who is for controlled legal immigration as racists, hate mongers and generally not wanting "what's best for America". I suppose Senator Jeff Sessions will now be added to this group since he stood up and spoke the truth on C-Span.

Everyone noticed that you managed to slip into the failed immigration bill a couple of pages meant to expedite the implementation of the Security & Prosperity Partnership, further saddleing the American taxpayers with mountains of debt to help Mexico improve their econony and secure their southern border & ports.

Just when do you plan to explain to the American people how we would benefit from a North American Union with Canada and the nation to our south ( you know; the one that has the most corrupt government in the western hemisphere; MEXICO!!)

So, Mr. President, I will not be among those who pay any attention at all to your pleas to be trusted. You see, I'm retired and living on my Social Security and I have recently learned that you plan to give that away through a "totalization agreement with Mexico that lets illegal aliens share in our bankrupt SOCIAL SECURITY TRUST FUND. Ooops, there's that word again.

In fact, I will be out in the streets of Seattle with some of my fellow Americans getting the message out that you and our Congress should all be thrown out of office and replaced by some people who really do want what is best for America.
